Library Shelf Markers

If you are lucky enough to have space for a classroom library, chances are students don’t always put books back exactly where you put them. So instead of straight, neat bookshelves, they end up looking more like this…

Kids and Reading 
While this does have quite the artistic look to it, it’s not the best way to keep books in their best condition. Plus it makes it harder to find specific books.
 We suggest these great library shelf markers we found through Pinterest. You can read the original post on how to make them over at A Cupcake for the Teacher.
 
All you need are paint stirrers from Home Depot {FREE!} and a little paint. The numbers are a nice addition to help students remember which shelf marker is theirs.
